SBI PO PREPARATION TIPS 2019:
SBI PO is one of the most competitive exams and the quicker the preparation is, the better it is for the aspirants to have a good preparation. Here are some tips to get you started:
STEP #1: Check where you stand at present
It is really important to analyze one’s strengths and weaknesses in the different sections of the exam. It is not necessary that from day one, an aspirant will do well in all the sections. You can pick up some best-selling books based on the latest exam pattern and make a study plan to begin your preparation. If you think you’ve enough knowledge to crack SBI PO, take a mock test and see where you stand!
STEP#2: Mend the gaps and brush up your weaker sections:
There are sections of higher weightage such as Quantitative Section (weight age 10 or more marks) which can be easy to solve for most candidates. All they need to do is to think logically and answer the tricky questions. A great way to practice the Quant section is by solving questions from beginner’s level to an advanced level.
For sections that are tough, like ‘Find the error’ in the English language, ‘Floor based Puzzle’ in Reasoning section or ‘Caselet DI’ in Quantitative Aptitude section, these sections need you to give more time in preparing. Invest at least 45 minutes to brush up the basics. For sections with lower weightage, aspirants can invest 30 minutes for them.
Step #3: PRE VS MAINS:
It has been found that most aspirants tend to prepare for mains only after they are done with their prelims. This may not always be the right strategy for everyone considering there is very less time left after the SBI prelims exam.
