SSC 83 Assistant Posts Age Limit:

• Minimum 18 Years to Maximum 30 Years
• Age relaxation –
  SC – 5 Years
  ST – 5 Years
  OBC-3 Years
  PWD-10 Years

Eligibility Criteria for SSC 83 Assistant Recruitment 2015 :

• Assistant Archivist : Master’s Degree in History with an optional paper in Indian History of post-1500 period of a recognized University or equivalent with an optional paper in Persian language at Degree level.
• Assistant Archivist(General) : Master’s Degree in History with an optional paper in Indian History of post-1750 period of a recognized University or equivalent.
• Data Processing Assistant : Degree of a recognized University with Science, Mathematics, Economics, Commerce, Statistics or equivalent.
• Scientific Assistant : Master’s degree in Physics (pure or applied) or degree in Mechanical Engineering/Metallurgy of a recognized university or equivalent.
• Scientific Assistant(RPT) : Master’s degree in Physics (pure or applied) or Chemistry (Pure or Applied or Industrial) or degree in Textile Technology or degree in Rubber Technology or degree in Plastic Engineering or degree in Polymer and Rubber Technology of recognized university or equivalent.
• Scientific Assistant(Electrical) : Master’s degree in Physics (pure or applied) or degree in Electrical Engineering/Electrical Communication Engineering/ Telecommunication Engineering of a recognized university or equivalent.
• Investigator Grade-II :Bachelor’s Degree with Statistics or Mathematics or Economics or Commerce as one of the subjects from a recognized University.
• Metrological Assistant : Department of Consumer Affairs, M/o Consumer Affairs, Food & Public Distribution.
• Assistant(Architectural Department ) : Diploma in Architecture from a recognized University or Institute

SSC Eastern Region Recruitment Application Fee:

• General & OBC Candidates are required to pay Rs. 50 /-
• SC/ST/PH, Women applicants are exempted from paying
