Chittaranjan Locomotive Works (CWL), Railways has given a notification for the Recruitment of the 25 vacant vacancies against Sports Quota. Candidates having certificates in sports and interested can fill the forms in the prescribed format and them before the last date. There are vacancies for both mans and woman’s in Football, Cricket, Chess, Basketball, Hockey, Golf, Gymnastic, Athletic, Archery. Applicants having any of these sports certificates can be Eligible to fill the form.
Applicants are requested to fill the forms correctly and carefully after reading the instructions on the official website. Candidates are advised not to leave any field blank otherwise the applications will be rejected. Application forms sent from any other mode will not be Entertained.

Age Limit:
- Candidates who are filling the forms should be having the age of 18 years to 25 years as on 01 Jan, 2015.
- Relaxation in age is not allowed to any Category candidates.
Eligibility Criteria:
- Candidates who are interested should have passed matriculation.
- Applicants must have played the National Games or in Under 19 group are eligible to fill the forms.
Pay Scale:
Rs.5200 to Rs.20200 and Grade pay will be given according to the post of the candidates.
Application Fee:
- Candidates are required to pay Rs.100 through the Indian Postal Order or Demand Draft drawn in favour of FA & CAO, Chittaranjan Locomotive Work payable at Chittaranjan.
- Applicants of SC/ ST, Muslim, women, PH Persons whose family income is less than Rs. 50000 per annum are exempted from the application fee.
- Fees once paid cannot be Refunded in any case.
Selection Process:
Selection will be made on the basis of the sports trial and interview.
Procedure to Apply:
- Candidates are required to send their applications in the prescribed format along with all related documents.
- Fill the form in the blue/ black ballpoint pen.
- Paste one recent passport size coloured photo not older than three months in the space provided in the application form.
- On the top of Envelope containing the application form applicants have to write “Applications against sports Quota (Open Advertisement) Recruitment for the year 2014-2015”.
- Applicants can send their applications to the address “ Chief Personnel Officer, GM’s Building/ CLW, P.O- Chittaranjan, Dist.- Burdwan, Pin- 713331 (W.B).
Important Dates:
- Applicants can send their applications before the last date 22 Nov, 2014 till 5:00 pm.
- Candidates who are living in Andaman & Nicobar and Lakshadweep for them the last date is 29 Nov, 2014 till 5:00 pm.
