Age Limit:
- Maximum 30 years
- Upper Age limit is relaxable by 5 years for SC/ST/OBC/Ex Serviceman/ESI employee
Eligibility Criteria:
- A recognized medical qualification included in the first or second Schedule or Part-II of third Schedule (other than licentiate qualifications) to the Indian Medical Council Act, 1956. Holders of educational qualification included in Part-II of the Third Schedule should also fulfill the conditions stipulated in Sub-Section (3) of Section 13 of the Indian Medical Council Act, 1956.
- The candidate shall have to pass a qualifying test of middle standard in official language of the State concerned where the vacancies are notified.
- Candidates who have not completed rotating internship shall be eligible to appear for the written examination provided that, if selected, they shall satisfactorily complete the compulsory rotating internship before appointment.
- Registration with the Medical Council of India.
